WELCOME
THE SERVICE…Experience.  Know How.  Fun.
Deschutes River Anglers specializes in one thing:  The Deschutes River Fly Fishing Experience.  We know there are other rivers, streams and lakes in central oregon.  We’ve fished most of them.  And in the end, for us, there is still only one river:  The Lower D. Blue ribbon, native trout and steelhead in a breathtaking canyon where whitewater and wildlife abound!!! This is the Deschutes.

Time on the river is worth a thousand fish.  We’ve spent years finding the Redsides—in the riffles, soft pockets, and in the eddies.  Steelhead in the tailouts, classic sweeping bends and inside seams. With the lower Deschutes being 109 miles long....let me just say it helps!

THE PHILOSOPHY…Our boats, your trip.

So you can’t roll cast or tie a nail knot.  No big deal.  You refuse to nymph.  We understand your stubbornness.  No camping gear. No problem. You don’t know jack about etymology.  We know some Latin and it’s friggin’ weird.  DRA caters to all skill levels and fly fishing schools of thought.  Our job is to show you skills to help you catch more fish, if you already have the skills, even better, we just show you where the fish live(or tell us where to pull over, it's your trip!)

Dry fly to redsides all day?  Sure.  Skate foam doams for steelhead during the summer run?  You bet.  Chuck Panther Martins?  Go somewhere else and lose our contact information.

THE TRIPS...One day, One week, One hundred people?
Give us enough time and we can put together any kind of trip you would like.
We specialize in one to four day trips on the lower Deschutes river exclusively.(With longer trips absolutely available!) Everything from BBQ lunches, weather proof canvas wall tents, to flys is taken care of. See the scoll menu on top of the page for a full description and photos of our camp and services.
FISHING SUMMARY
The season is now officially open and the Lower Deschutes is a great place to be. As the weather get nicer the better and more consistant the hatches will be. If you are thinking about doing guided trip this year booking early is the best way to help you get the dates and guides that you want.
GUIDED TRIPS
trout fishing is closed until the north end of the warm springs indian reservation. Trout fishing is not a good option here now. Wait for some warmer weather in march. Steelhead are in the system to spawn and that is primarily what they are doing now and should be left alone. Thank for a great year and hopefully we see you in '08. If you are thinking about next year, booking early is the best way to get the dates and guides that you want!
