The Owyhee has been fishing good this August. We’ve been seeing some decent midday mayfly hatches, and the water levels are still holding strong.

The fish have been cooperating, making for some great days on the river. If you’ve been thinking about getting out on the Owyhee, August is shaping up to be a good time to go.

One of the most exciting things this summer has been the number of rainbows we’ve been seeing. We’re finding more rainbows than ever, which has been a great addition to the fishing.
